A Rosa do viño
Type of grape: Garnacha tintorera and Mencía
Viticulture: heroic in terraces. All works are done manually.
Architecture: In terraces
Soil: Slate with granite traces and different soil treatments
Age of vineyard: 70 years
Conduction: traditional system
Pruning: simple Guyot
Density of plantation: 4300 vines/ha

Heroes: Senén, Fernando and José Ramón put all their efforts in this vineyard to achieve the best result of these grapes.
Elaboration: The grapes are chosen in selection tables by our team. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is carried out in French oak barrels of 400L at controlled temperature and later aged on its lees. Wine is bottled without clarifying to preserve its aromas and structure. By its natural processes of elaboration, it can produce some precipitate in bottle that does not alter its qualities.
Vintage: The year began with a wet winter, with the usual rains. The spring was warm and drier than usual, and thus it continued until the harvest. A very good maturation was achieved, although the plants suffered drought in the last periods of the summer. The grape harvest went ahead, and took place between 2nd and 18th of September.
Serving temperature: 14º/16º (We recommend you uncork the bottle half an hour before consumption to oxygenate it)
Alcohol content: 13.3% vol.
Total acidity: 6.5 g/l
Save time: from 1 to 10 years. Wine is refined and more fruit, complexity and depth appear.
Tasting Notes: Attractive intense high-layer cherry with garnet edges. Complex and very aromatic. On nose some memories of minerals and slate are marked. Notes of red and black fruit, wild aromas, clove, pepper, soothing and coffee. On the palate, it is very enveloping, elegant, of great fruity load, structured, long and persistent in the way retro nasal. It has mature and powerful tannins.
